I took these photos at the church I attend. In the middle photo I edited it to look like a blue print. This process was fun but long. the outcome was worth it though. I went to the church mid day and at sunset. the doors give the images symmetry.
Taking photos of stairs is very satisfying because it is always equal and balanced. the stair line can be seen from up and down. if I take the photo from the top I can expose the wood. If I take it from below then I can expose the white paint and see the intricate rails. the lines lead you eyes across the image.
I took these photos in the commons. the railings and floors make for symmetry. the patterns made by the levels give these photos depth. These photos remind me of lunch. It makes me happy to think of social time with my friends.
I took these photos in the hallways. the lighting was casting a cool shadow across the bricks and giving the poll a shape. the angles I took makes it look bigger or smaller. there are also leading lines that lead your eyes across the picture to a focal point. the patterns make it interesting to look at.
